I am trying to figure out how to remove the chrome trim that runs along the top of the windows on either side of the driver/passenger sides. It extends across both the main window and the quarter window.

Any help would be appreciated!

Get a hold of the back edge with a screwdriver or trim tool and pry it towards you carefully.....start at the end and work your way forward. It just pops off.

You may want to tape off the painted areas unless your getting it ready for paint.

Thank you for your reply! So to be clear, you pull forward towards yourself instead of down towards the floor?

Is it held in with clips?

Hmm.

Not sure about 66 but it's the same principal.

It's kind of a pinch held piece in that the metal pinches around the drip rail with just enough force to hold it. Just pry it up and towards you and roll it/pry it off carefully

If you have an extra set of hands that helps sometimes.

I've used an old fashioned pop bottle cap remover to gently pry it up.
