My boss, got his Rat motored Olds running . It got louder, with of couple of break in passes. Has long case Magnaflow cases he re-packs,with dollar store stainless steel dish washing brushes. Pulled it apart today,to repack. Anyone else done this ?
Repacking fiberglass core mufflers (Magnaflow)...?

No, but I used a Vibrant muffler and resonator on my daily driver, and they have that instead of fiberglass. Oh and they're actually all stainless and don't rust unlike Magnaflow. Sounds good too!

1 1/2" hole saw,two self tapping screws, thick tin cover,& red hi temp RTV. (And a lot of patience).

I used to repack my kid's MX bike muffler.. repacking is common in this sport..
