Hardly accurate enough for any land speed records.
Just for the driver's immediate acceptance, then they can take the gauge reading from there and do with it what they choose.

Wait?.......You rode a motorcycle 211mph at El Mirage wearing a Speedo?!?!This thread is hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. I’ll say one thing, I was part of a team that earned two FIA world records at bonneville in two days. We went 164.669mph officially and 171.642 mph peak. I know what it takes to get there. No charger, dart, barracuda or any other old hooptie with a stock 340 is getting there. I dont care what the speedo said, who saw it, and/or how many people saw it, I ain’t believing it. I’ve personally been clocked at 211mph on two wheels at El Mirage and my Speedo said 231. Just sayin.
I so wish that was true. Next time I’ll do it just for you.Wait?.......You rode a motorcycle 211mph at El Mirage wearing a Speedo?!?!

Have a guy that comes to our cruise in that fondly tells the story of his old Cutlas that did 170. He judges how far beyond the 120 mark the needle swings I guessI dont care what the speedo said,
Clear over into the turn signal indicator is at least 170.Have a guy that comes to our cruise in that fondly tells the story of his old Cutlas that did 170. He judges how far beyond the 120 mark the needle swings I guess
