gotta set in a 2000 seabring im planning on using in a duster, mine got the shoulder strap built in to the seat!

I was about to suggest the Seabring seats as I remember other members have used them in the past. They are cheap and plentiful and still technically a Mopar seat.

I used the stock 68 buckets in mine with new foam, covers and some springs repaired. They look good and are period correct but they SUCK as far as any lateral support goes. Luckily I'm not into the twisties so much, more of a straight line guy.

I like my old cars old.i like to hear the wind whistle through the vent window seals, love the feel of driving them just the way they are, and don’t mind the original seats, as that’s what I’m used to while driving them. I voted to keep it original!

I got my hands on a decent pair of seats from an 03 crown vic interceptor so that's what I'm going with. 25 bucks for both front seats. I'll put the original seat in storage until I can properly reupholster it but until then I'm set. I'm mostly worried about not sitting in a hole or snapping my neck in an accident, not how it looks. Although those crown vic seats are super easy to change the cover on for not a lot of money.

Mounting ? for installing the Sebring seats... I just picked up a set with the seatbelt in them
what did people do for the tracks ... it looks like i can put thim in using the seat tracks that are on them ... exp the front mounting tabs would have be bent flat ... and how did anyone hook up the power for the seat ?

I did not use Sebring seats BMW and I used a wedge spacer for front bolts so it would sit level. Hook up power for sure. I used long jumpers from the battery to the connections to test the seats first, all my motors where locked up. Bench test it first. If the motors don’t work take them out and manually turn them with small screwdriver to free them up. Use the Sebring tracks, drill new holes and put backing plates under floor. You don’t want to fly out of the car still buckled in your seat.
