resister heating up

hooked up a chrysler electronic system,car fired up and ran no problems,last weekend . Now my resister is heating up any one have this problem???

the ballast resistors get very hot. If you look at it , you'll see an air gap between the resistor and it's mounting surface. You can install a washer between the resistor and mounting surface to give it a little more airflow, but hot is normal.
