Stock console is no longer an option with my TKO 600 transmission, starting from scratch

What did you use as the base? Masonite
 
Whats on the back of the console, behind the armrest area? The dial for the radio
 
Base material for this console was 24 gauge carbon steel, that was welded by means of wire feed and TIG. Wood grain bezels are all aluminiun. Get yourself some posterboard and just DO IT! Make it bigger than you need, and work yourself into something you like.

Back of the console resides an adjustable interior light just like on airlines, I plan on flying this Fish. I got real creative because it's mine, and will more than likely be mine forever?

Very nice work, it does remind me of a cockpit. I also really like the "cuda" lettering on your tail panel.
