Before you start your restoration project. Do research. Buy yourself a shop manual. I get calls all the time from guys and my first question is do you own a shop manual. I have a you tube channel. It’s my name. I’m going to do a series on body n paint. I’ve been doing body n paint since 1979. I’m going to attach a picture of half of my car library in my house. And some of my equipment I use. The black binders are car magazine collections from the 1960’s and newer

Nice library!!!

I was a mechanic for many years, and once in a while I'd get the question in one form or another "what is your favorite/most used/most important tool". I'd always point shelves of books and manuals.

I know a lot of the stuff is available on the computer now and while it's a good source and has it's place you just can't beat having the book. I can usually find the book I need and the information in the book quicker than I can look it up on the computer. (had a lot of practice LOL)
