Restoring 1970 Valiant Duster

I have had a 1970 valiant duster since 1982 just now starting to restore it. It has a 340 4speed. I looked up vin # it was listed as a special class car. I don't know that much about it just trying to find out what anyone knows about this car.

Special class was the 340 cars. VS29H0

If it has a fender tag you can post it here and get the info as well. The decoders don't always work properly.

I have a 70 Duster 340 as well except mine is an auto car...

Car was only 12 years old when you acquired it. Even if it was 28 years ago, maybe there is a previous owner or two indicated on surviving paperwork that you can track down for additional history on it as well. It's a long shot but occasionally, "back in the day" photos may surface as well as interesting history which may help in your restoration.
