I've run into the hard to find early '71 with ECS gas cap problem. Some posts on this forum say you can retrofit a later model filler neck and I'd like a sanity check to make sure I'll get the right one.
Classic Industries | Restoration Parts | Mopar Parts | Camaro Parts | Firebird Parts | Nova Parts | Impala Parts | GM Truck Parts | Tri-Five Chevy Parts claims to fit 1973-75 A-Bodies (p/n MF46201). Would this retrofit okay?
I understand the filler neck mounting holes at the fender need to be redrilled to the new pattern. Is that correct?
