reverse light on dash for a-833

I have a 1970 dart swinger with a the a-833 and the reverse light on the dash is not working. There is nothing plugged into the tranny, and I have no idea where to start. I found a wiring set and online for it but don't know where it all goes. Does the wiring from the tranny plug into the block on the firewall? Where does the single wire from the light on the dash connect to? Any advice would help.

I have a manuel for the car it doesn't have that much detail and it doesn't tell me whats missing. what wires I need, plugs or where all of it goes to make it work ect.

Its one wire that goes to the reverse light tab on the back of the fuse holder in fuse box. I believe the wire is blue. . The dash acts as the ground.

awesome thank you I will try that. The wiring plug on the transmission its self, what does that do or does it need to be there at all?
