I have a 69 Dart with a column shift, cannot get the reverse lights to work. It has good light bulbs. I have the factory wire harness going to the tranny, it has power to one of the pins in the plug that goes to the tranny, bad ground? What am I missing? Thanks for the help!!

When in reverse does it have power to two pins when hooked up?

no but the newer switchs are sometimes too long and you need to space them out with a washer of some sort , I use a couple of the heavy felt washers for a holley power valve because they also seal against seepage .

Plus it should have 3 pins in 69 .1 in the center for the nuetral safety switch and 2 outer pins for the reverse lights .Or maybe I got that backwatds but still should be 3 pins lol !

^^That is correct. The two outer pins of the switch are for backup

That b-light wiring comes back through the bulkhead on the wiper plug bulkhead and through to the rear harness, do not overlook that including the plug under the drivers kick panel all the way to the back.
