I've got a '73 dodge dart swinger and the lightbulb socket for the reverse light is rusted well beyond saving but I'm having trouble finding one that will fit the housing hole...any ideas? Thanks in advance1

Wow!
Tough question!
I have no clue where to get one of those Sockets other than parts yarding one! Some of the dash mounted Parking Brake Lights used the same Bulb/Socket as the Reverse Light. Otherwise, Take the whole thing to a Parts Store and match one up to it?

Hope this helped somewhat.
Later,
Bruce B.

PS: Afterthought here: What part of the Socket is rusted? The actual Dash Housing or the Bulb Pigtail?

Go to NAPA and ask for part # ECH LS6465

Here's a link to NAPA online so you can verify it's the right one.

Anymore I look my stuff up on NAPA's online website. It's quicker than letting their parts monkey's try to find it as most of them don't have a clue what a Mopar A-body is.

If you need any other light sockets here's the link to the page that shows all the sockets and bulb holders for your car.
