Anyone ever put a Richmond/Doug Nash 5 speed in an A-body? Are transmission tunnel mods needed?

they're a pretty bulky trans so i can't imagine it would go in without modifying the tunnel

Yes you will have to modify the tunnell area,the linkage rods will hit the tunnell area on that side and it will hit or be very close in other areas also. But they sure are nice transmissions.
What about shifter placement. How far of is it from stock?

1969340Dart, will the linkage hit the trans crossmember? That's my biggest concern.
