Rim blow steering wheel

all the 71 darts i've seen with a rimblow had the wooden one.... that black style one is hideous looking.

The blue one I posted is a "70 only" Dart option. This is a page out of the 70 Dart option book. The 3 spoke is 71.

I saw in another post that the S83 option wheel was available in 71 on the C bodies. I haven't found the option book for that.

Thanks Toolmanmike. yes it is option S83. I have only seen one on a car from Michigan a few years back at a car show. The box sticker said it was ordered in January 1971 from a Detroit Dodge dealer. I thought it was a cool looking steering wheel and I was looking for something different then the standard steering wheel that every body has!!!!

Actually that wheel was an option on 1970 B-body models too , seen one on a 70 Coronet R/T and one on a Superbird!!! Seen some c-body cars with them in a junkyard near me, my old FM3 70 Dart also came with it but I replaced it with a tough wheel. Seen one of these rare wheels for sale on eBay awhile back, was NOS....shoulda bid on it cause it didn't sell for much cause the seller didn't list it right.

My 70 dart came with one, it was the green one shown above. I sold that wheel along with the steering column for around $150 bucks....LOL. At the time I didn't know what I had. Hehe.

Well hell, I didn't know the '70 one was different, I thought they all got the 3 spoke wheels like in '71. Never seen one like that blue one on an A-body.
