8 3/4 stock width
Will a 15x8 steel rim fit on this dart
And what size tire

The steelies are 10" and the centerlines are 8" with ss springs and a 8 3/4

With the springs in the stock location a 255/60/15 is as wide as you can go for a tire. Even those are usually easier to manage on the 70+ cars, 67-69 there are cars out there that won’t go past 245/60/15 without trimming.

A 15x8 will physically fit, but a 15x7 is probably a better choice. 15x8 will need 4.5” up to about 4.75” for backspace, 15x7” can use 4.25” or 4.5”.

No sir, Barracuda’s and Darts are not the same. The Barracuda’s, Demons, and Dusters have an extra 1” of width in the factory wheel tubs. You will not get 15x10’s on a ‘69 Dart with factory tubs and spring locations.
