Having gone through the good advice of a couple of threads regarding tire sizing and wheel backspacing, I would like to get other input regarding the choice of Center Line rims for my '68 notchback. Here is the car (first post):

I have long been a fan of the Auto Drag series. Both the Natural and the Polished have their appeal. For optimal backspacing and rear tire width, I am strongly considering the Fuel series as well. Here are samples of all three from Summit:

I have used the tool at the JEGS site to imagine what each would look like on the car but the Barracuda body styles do not include 67-69. It is also not quite the same as a picture of the real thing.

Thus, I would like to see if anyone has pictures of the 67-69 series cars with any of these rims on them. (I know that AdamR uses the polished Auto Drag.) Please post your pictures if you have them.

Alternatively, any pictures of blue Mopar muscle cars with the previously noted rims would also be greatly appreciated.

I have had a lot of different wheels on my Barracuda. If you are going to be putting big tires on the back, you will want an 8 or 8.5" wide wheel. The best backspacing with most tires is between 4 and 4.5". Any less and they will start to stick out pretty far.

The Centerline brand wheels seem to come in 3.5 and 5 inch backspacing. 3.5 is not enough and 5 seems to be too much. I've thought of using the 5s and a 1/2" spacer but never really wanted to mess with spacers.

Here is a picture of 15x8.5s with 3 3/4" backspacing. They stick out a bit farther than I would like but I like the old stuff. It leaves 1 3/4" between the 255/60 tire and leaf spring. Hope that helps.
