Need opinions on ring gap clearance with 200 shot of nitrous
2 100 hp plates stacked, nozzle Rods every 90 degrees on an Edelbrock Air gap
Or Performer RPM

My Keith black pistons recommended .008 x the bore size for nitrous. Others are .005 x bore. It really depends on the pistons. On kbs the top ring is closer to the top of the pistons getting more heat thus the extra gap.

Agree with Dart freak. KB's want LOTS of ring gap, n/a. And it does depend on the pistons (and rings!).
I would NOT hit KB's with any kind of nitrous shot. Heck, I wouldn't even hit my forged piston small block with a shot, the top ring land was too high to feel comfy.
