Hey i have been trying to find the info regarding what i should set my top and second ring gap to... can anyone shed some light on this for me??
I can't find anything.

Oh and the pistons are sealed power h116cp hyp. on a 5.9L LA bored .030" over. Should i just run stock specs??

That piston has the rings in the standard location so stock specs. will be fine.

013-.023 on both rings.

thanks guys. I did it to stock specs. All but two were really tight. The two were about max spec for gap.

Sealed power hypers get the std gaps. And the old rule of thumb is .004 for every inch of bore. I use .004/inch for the top and .004/inch plus.005 for the second ring. So it would be .017 for the top, and .022 for the second ring. IIRC the KB hyper specs start at .006/inch of bore and go up from there depending on use.
