RIP Mr. Shelby. He contributed a lot to the automobile world over many decades. I was 7 years old the first time I saw 100 mph on the speedometer, my Dad driving a Shelby 350H my aunt had rented when she came to visit us...

Another automotive legend lost to history. Sad to hear of his passing. So many innovations over the years. He definitely left a lasting legacy.
I went through his manufacturing facility in Las Vegas a few years ago. Quite a few beautiful cars on display.
One of my most favorite cars still is the 427 Cobra - I don't care if does have a Ford engine. It's just downright sexy.
