HAS ANY ONE USED RM UNO 420 ? I have been told its a great paint for patch work . My car has 20 year old enamel paint . I have the repair done getting ready for paint . I been told after painting to sand with 1200 grit or better after . Any suggestions on the pro and cons

talked to my painting instructor today. the RM UNO is good paint but its a single stage so blending the repair wont work. painting the whole panel or to some body lines that will hide a hardline is your only option. if your paint has metal flake you shouldnt sand it or you could realy jack up the finish, if its a solid color 1200 grit with some water proof guid coat to knock the orange peal off then 2000 grit then cutting compound and last polish to match the rest of the car.

i have already decided to try it . Rm calls it a blow in paint for all HMMM

So I Tried the blend first . it was ok but it was there and didn't look good to me so i have redid the panel . looks good .

My concern is that there is the enamel paint i painted over ?
