Rockauto floor pan

I just received a pan from rockauto and the first thing that I noticed was two cuts in the front, I guess they did this because they couldnt shrink it enough. Is this normal?

The replacement floor pans I bought were the same way, I think they all are made that way.

Here's hoping you don't need to adjust the pans to fit when you go to install. I've always put the pans in first and then stitched the cut that way you have some give to make them fit properly.
