Rolls Royce Slant 6?????

Some dude in the Anthrax (the band's) message board said that the Slant 6 was developed by Rolls Royce for Chrysler? I I have never heard this before, I figured I'd ask you guys, I'm sure one of ya will know.
Help me defend Chryslers honor LOL!

I've also heard the Slant was developed by BMW, and my all time favorite..............A Slant is actually half of a V-12 from Panzer tank. :cheers:


Truth is the Slant is all Ma Mopar and was not intended to grow from the original 170 cubes. That's why the head sucks so bad, they never made the ports any bigger from the 170 design. ukel:
