I haven't done anything this dumb in a while.... I am replacing my front windshield with a lexan unit. Took the old glass out about 2 weeks ago and decided today was the day to cut the new windshield. So I traced the old glass and cut. Wha-la forgot the old glass is smaller than the opening. That was a fast 70 bucks down the drain!!!!!

Happens to the best of us. Post pics when you get it done.

you can't put it in with a seal, like the windshield?

I have never worked with lexan, but what do you mean "the old glass is smaller than the opening? Did you make modifications to secure the lexan that changed the dimensions?

Ouch.... The old adage: Measure twice, cut once. Did the same situation several times, cutting patch panels for GM bodywork projects.
