"Rookie-Touring" '69 Dart

More parts trickling in. Just picked up a pair of 'glass fenders. They are brand new US Body pieces bought from a guy that decided on steel instead; half off $$$. Would have preferred AAR but I'm not going to complain saving $400 plus shipping, for now anyway. When I start fitting it may be a different story... 'Glass deck lid on order as well. Got a package with some miscellaneous things from Chris Alston, package from Ballistic fab, my Brownline Torque wrench is in house, along with some other miscellaneous goodies.

I hate not being around to play with all my new junk! But I sure do love new parts. 3.5 months...

So packages have been arriving lately...

And I just can't stop looking at this, I freaking love them!

Other pacakges include:
CA Chassisworks
Ballistic Fabrication
Frost Fighter - if you want a modern rear defrost in your car, or you need to fix yours, check this out http://www.frostfighter.com/
New Torque wrench from Brown Line, this thing is awesome too and they've been having introductory prices on p-t and lat-g, http://www.brownlinemetalworks.com/
I'm building a rotisserie so I ordered a bunch of hardware from wholesale bolts and McMaster
Ordered an Eastwood bead roller since they were on wicked sale. I'm gonna beef it up a bit and build a stand for it. Also planning to power it w/ a foot pedal
Another package in route from Ironworks, ISIS brackets (5 of those bad boys)
Fiberglass fenders showed (deck-lid is in production)

Monday I'm ordering my Woodward steering rack. Will also be ordering some stuff from Art Morrison within the next week or two. The good times will be rolling like CRAZY when I get back in December.

Man, It's like Christmas every day at your house......

Will....what amazes me....you actually know how all this stuff works...I don't even know what some of it is....

What are these Isis brackets? I've been thinking of going with the Isis system on my car.

Riddler

I STRONGLY recommend ISIS, but ONLY if you are planning something more than the usual suspects when it comes to accessories inside your car. If you are planning the typical electrical components then ISIS is a waste of your money, but if you are planning to expand greatly and want to get into the world of modern electronics in your build, ISIS is the way to go. I'm still debating coupling mine to MiMod HP which would expand even further on an already awesome system AND allow me to control my air suspension from the touch screen display while eliminating the only somewhat aesthetically pleasing control panel from Ride Tech. But that doesn't answer your question.

Ironworks Speed & Kustom is now building and selling "Hot Rod Fab Parts" that he is marketing to the home builder, to simplify certain aspects of the build. One of those parts are mounts for the ISIS Mastercell, Powercell, and InMotion controller. They sell for $20 a piece + $15 shipping for as many can be put into a USPS flat rate box. He put 5 in mine with a lot of room to spare. I could easily have fabb'd something to mount the cells but I like what he has and I'm planning to do something cool (I think) with mounting all these electronics. These are just a real simple piece that save a lot of time.

Look at that, I just learned how to do coffee. I may have to switch from hot chocolate now, but what does the blue stuff equal??? Math isn't my best subject.

I have been considering wiring up something to put an ipad into mine... But then I stop and ask myself.. Why? And when would I use it. And By that point, I've pretty much talked myself out of it. haha!

equal (comes in a blue package)...is a sugar substitute....

ya know Mooch-ell... doesn't like sugar,right?

ja, ich weiss Equal... :coffee2:

Benjamin, you have to at least get the ipod. I would bet you'd be surprised how often you would use it. My next project won't get much in the way of electronics, just enough to keep it rolling and beat the snot out of it.

aaaAHHHhhhh....Luuuuke...you are starting to feel the "force"

Well, I have an ipod... But I don't have much in the way of music on it, And I really wouldn't be able to hear it in my first one anyway. I'm doing my builds in the opposite order. Build one to flog, then make a pretty one with the learned lessons.

Pretty.....is O.K. ....

Floggin'....it's what Mopars are for...

Help me Obi-Wan Denny. You’re my only hope...

Sounds like you need a Pondo-Combo Benjamin. Build a Twofer. Make it do both. There are some pretty looking floggers out there.
