Room for ac?

starting to think about engine swapping my 73 /6 duster, my rational mind says go small block but...

Anyways I have to have ac in this car, was just going to put in a knee knocker. Is there room for a 440 and the needed ac accesories?

my 383 in a 69 dart with a stock a/c unit , hit the bracing under the hood .

Sure.
A good driver Big Block A body with A/C is not a problem.
You may get tight if installing electric fans but still doable.
I understand your need for A/C.

May be fine using a Sanden compressor.

those are smaller units , i did a 340 with a/c using a sanden unit .
