RTE Voltage Limiter 3 Question.

I bought an RTE IVR 3 for my 69 barracuda. I'm actually working under the dash now. I tried to contact them with an email and phone call.

Here is my question. The red led light keeps flashing... like a heartbeat when the car key is switched on and also when the car is running. ...............I selected not to reinstall the factory condenser, since the RTE Limiter is solid state. . Anyone else seen that with the RTE limiter?? Again. red LED light continues flashing after about 5 minutes when the car is running.

Their web site says that it blinks to let you know that it has power and is working. Note, they say that if you have a 68-74 A-body with the Rallye gauges that it will not work properly. They have a link to repairing the Rallye cluster.

This is true. The factory limiter is in the fuel gauge. I bent the points open and cut the heater wires off on mine to deactivate it.
