I love the holidays. Don't mind traveling 40 miles to my kids homes, or a thousand miles to go back home to Jersey and the family up there, or even to Europe to be with family there. I always have a wonderful time.
Sometimes there are argument and disagreements, but it's never anything serious...
October, November, December, January, and February are a very busy time of year for us. As it turns out, besides Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve/Day, all of our birthdays fall within those 4 months, as well as our Anniversary, and those of most of our close relatives. lol Then there's nothing from about Feb. 15th to the first week of October, and then it starts all over again for 5 months. Something about every other week. I wouldn't trade it for anything, either.

You just have to decide what's more important. The celebration of Jesus Christ's birth, or some stupid family disagreement.

Rusty, you are a wise man. What you say is what is most important. Jesus is the reason for the season, and the main thing all of us should celebrate. I do not condone the stupid family disagreements. However, I do not feel a group of people should have to wait for those that are being disrespectful, and inconsiderate, by not being on time. They are more than welcome to join in, once they show.
