"rusty ol cuda" nightmare on any street wheelstander project

-
I talked to him at Indy and he is in a wheel chair and touring with one of his old MoPars Wagg's, His wife said she will try and get back on board with us and as I handed a fabo card to him he said that is my wife not my daughter:D he still has his sense of humor :D:D
He sold his home here Sercy Arkansas:sad4: just an hours drive away that had the great fishing lake/big pond in the back yard.. and yes he has a hot wife :bball:
A boat ride sounds gerrrrrrate

I may eng up building a set of steel 15" wheels and keepin the poverty cap's on her just to fool a few...

Love the build plans, Wags, but you're not going to be foolin' anybody with that 440 visible through the rear side windows. How 'bout building Waggin II as a sedan delivery? That'll keep the unsuspecting fooled for awhile.

well since i dont have the gaskets to hold in the side rear windows that was the plan.....may have dark tinted lexan instead, won't know till we get there :glasses7:

I'm prolly gonna pull her out the back yard today, sold the wiring harness so i cant drive it so I gotta dragg it with the ferd...
Lets just call him Fred (the ferd truck) that is :D
I wish I had a bunch of lexon (how ever you spell it) to send your way :thumblef:so you can get the glass out of it.

I have a friend that works at midstate glass, they'll hook a dawgie up :)

well, the build has taken a left turn then a right turn, all forward progress on the wheelstand car......Waggin II will happen but seems to have been superceded by another love.....My close friend ryan showed up and needed a place to stay, I showed him whats goin on and parts we have on hand and what we are trying to achieve,,,he agreed with me lets build this first so the uglee, rusty 65 barracuda git's first shot at life, ryan has been with me as crew chief on my pro figure eight car and an apprentice all along our friendship, I value his opinion and his friendship as well, we gonna go fishin first, then we'll build Waggin II and bring home the groceries

Lookin good. Is that a 360? And I love how you painted the rearend may have to copy that if it is ok with you. Sounds like you have great help

yea we think we can pull this off with a 360 and copy anything ya like, not like I have a patent on buildin mopars, this is first attempt at a wheelstander, waggin II has all parts intact except the transfer case...we looked at what we have in house and what is closer to being up to the job and are going forward with this while keeping waggin II in the minds eye, I gotta say before this goes south that is hemi orange.......no chebbie orange on my builds ;)

Nah, we would never put 340 x heads on a 360 with dual avs carbs or any other goodies for a wheelstander car, not sure if its a 360 any more after the stuff the machine shop did, cant never trust them guys to give ya back the same engine :) who knows if they bored it or anything like that? we just gonna see what she'll do when we mash the thottle blades open :burnout:
I would expect nothin less. Are you sure it is a 360 cause it has X heads? Or did you put X heads on a 360 block?

this is the old 360 out of my pro figure eight car, it has been stored with no pushrods, the avs carbs will be going for a journey to pfogels for a rebuild, trans will be off to Zipp's 340 service for freshening, for now we are doin mockup to get throttle linkages and air cleaner/s figured out and mounted in the car, we'll get all that done and tear back down for finish welding and paint while the trans and carbs are getting massaged, long way to go on this build so the more Little details we accomplish early on will speed up the build, ive ran the engine to a few win's in the past so now its up to building the car and the new parts to go with it

Me and ryan and my son steven have been tossin ideas back and fourth, as the build goes I'm sure there will be new ideas and hints that will come along and we are all ears!!! never done this before.....but we are gonna do this, even if it don't work its gonna look good and sound good, if it dont work we figure time for more engine, more compression? more convertor? more gear? we'll keep at it till she's hangin em high!!! :) i was just kiddin bout the won't work part heh heh :) ya'll know better :happy1:

and so it was
