hey y'all, I sent this email to www.moparts.com in reference to their fan shrouds and about the stuff I read on these pages about aftermarket shrouds. Here's what I sent:
hello, I was interested in getting a fan shroud for my Duster from you guys but (there's always a but!) I read on quite a few all Mopar websites where the repop shrouds are problematic with melting from the radiator heat to the point where the top of the shroud makes contact with the fan blades. Is this still an issue or has it been corrected?

This is what I got back pretty quickly from Todd Marsh:
Greetings
We have sold hundreds of these shrouds. NOT one return for any problem other than fitment issues on a few.
Todd

So I'm wondering if the ones I saw talked about here were from somewhere else and not Moparts? Or maybe it was Moparts but they got the problem fixed?

I have heard that the repop fan shrouds are junk and do sag from the heat like you said. Maybe they fixed them or there are different companies out there? I am holding out for a nice used one but they are spendy or hard to find.
