That's a great bodystyle to begin with.

Yep. It was a time when every car was completely recognizable from any angle and from just about any distance. I heard a helicopter reporter mention that looking down at Americas freeways today, the cars, all of them just resemble jelly beans. All the same shape, just different colors, and even the colors are far more subdued than they were back in the 50's.

I think he was right.

Even the people look period correct with the clothes, hair styles etc.

I work at the NAPA in scenic Lake Elsinore ( Ca. ) "The Town that Welfare Built " .

I've long wanted to do up a '61-'62 Lancer or Valiant wagon or '63-'66 Dart or Valiant wagon similar to this ; scalloped paint , Lakes Pipes , thin white wall tyres , etc .
