Hi, Hoping to get some advice on my 727 auto trans.
Just recently put in 1983 police edition 318 in 69 dart project.
The trans that came with it supposedly ok.
Stupid me wanted to get it in the car to check out motor etc.
Engine runs great, cam,headers,750 cfm.
However when put in "gear" it seems like it is big load on engine at idle.
It drives and shifts but doesn't seem right. It does slip alittle in reverse.
What tests can I do without pulling trans just yet to troubleshoot a normal
operation etc.etc. (oil level is correct)
