Are the valve bodies on SB 904's all interchangeable?
or did the change things around on the newer stuff?

Actually I should further clarify the question,
Talking about 904's from say 1970ish onwards.
Not the earlier cable operated stuff.

........to a certain extent.....things did change on newer stuff.........some were lock up trannys and had a different vb....what years u talking...........kim..........

I'm not 100% sure as none of what we have was removed from the original vehicles by us.
just wanting to fit a valve body from a newer trans (One with a cut out in the bell housing for the crank sensor I think?) into a trans that would have been out of a mid 70's car.
problem is the trans are 40kms apart, and one is still in a car. So I can't easily compare them.

...............I think u can only go up 77-8-9 as that was when the l u converter started........post a few pics of the vb u want to use............kim........
