Received another pic and its a SP2P and they seem to be looked down on.
it's one of those things that it depends on what you're doing with it and what your end goal is.

if you have a light car and you want something peppy that gets outstanding mileage, then they're great for that. anything else, not so much.

the main benefit is that you don't have to change anything. it's a direct bolt on and there's no muss or fuss with throttle cable or kick down or brackets.

it'd be similar to "upgrading" from a stock 318 cast iron 4bbl manifold to a performer. however, if you had a single plane stock 2bbl manifold, i'd probably consider it a worthwhile upgrade.

i knew a guy with a 273 2bbl that had a commando cam and ran one and it was alright for what it was. he later put on one of those holley Z manifolds and it was a combo that was better than it had any right to be. it just worked for some reason.

By the looks of it, the 2 bbl bolt pattern is the larger mopar 2 bbl bolt pattern.

Able to accept the larger 350 cfm + 2 bbl mopar carbs. Unlike the early small pattern BBD economy carbs.

The larger pattern, larger cfm 2 bbl carbs may be a good match for your 360. Like came on the '76 D100 360 2245 2 bbls.

Or the earlier large pattern 2 bbl Strombergs like used on the early 383s.

Being your 2 bbl manifold is already bolted on.

That Stromberg sure ran nice on a stock build 360 that was on the run stand.
