No that's actually supposed to be his bank or something LOL.. scammers aren't super smart but they get lucky I guess. The check was for some Big *** Fans I'm selling on CL. Told him I had several and I'd take 18k for the lot. I fibbed

OK.. found what the deal is with this one. I'm attaching a link so that you all may educate yourself on the verification code scams. It's an attempt to hack into your Google account and steal identity , personal info, acct numbers etc. Apparently these verification codes can come in at random, pretending to be Google or a similar acct.
