Anyone have experience with SCAT products? Looking at getting a
Scat Cast Pro Comp Stroker Light Wt 340 Chrysler Crank for my 402 stroker project. any input? Thanks

I like the Pro-Comp rods I purchased from them. Crank is definately worth looking at IMO. Like anything, just check it out throughly before assembly.

I haven't heard anything bad about SCAT. I just bought a set of I beam rods for a 408 I'm doing and my machinist liked them alot. He didn't have to do any balancing on them and they sized right on the number right out of the box. I wouldn't hesitate using a SCAT crank. Of course with any brand you should check the sizing to make sure it's right.

I run the Scat stroker kit in my engine. Don't buy their kit balanced. They do a lousy job and won't give you your money back. Just buy the kit unbalanced and have a good reputable local shop balance it correctly. Also have your local shop check everything over; bearing clearances, crank run out, end play, etc.
