Ok im thinking of replacing my 7/8 factory sway bar that i have on my demon off of a 68 dart gts. Im wondering what big a difference will it make going to a bigger diameter bar, like a 1 1/8" or 1 1/4"?
I don't think that it is that easy. A car's suspension system is a system, not just a bunch of parts put together. A stiffer front swaybar without a corresponding increase in the rear roll rate will cause the car to "push" in the corners (understeer).
