Schumacher headers go 11.37

Did some test and tune down at Mason Dixon Dragway Sunday. My Scamp went its quickest of 11.37 @119.27 with Schumacher headers with the cutouts open. That with a 500HP motor at 535FT Lbs. torque. Stay around 11.40 the rest of the day. Yes I know it would probably go faster with a set of TTI's. For a street car the Schumachers work great.

At 3300 pounds the math says about 440 HP. That's if you are a 300 pound driver with your gear on. Not that I think you are fat, I was just guessing on th high side lol.

Compression is 10.5, Edelbrock top end kit, stock crank and rods. Mopar Electronic ignition, Quickfuel carb. Simple build.

What an awesome time! I've got Schumachers on my 383 Duster and best investment I made. Just so easy in the engine bay. I wish mine could run those numbers.

A 383 is basically a small block. So you either need a hotter build or more cubic inches.
