schumacher mounts ?

ive got a 68 cuda that came factory with a 273 , when i got it there was a 440 sitting in it . so i finally got it all buttoned up and took it in to get a safety and he sed ive got the wrong motor mounts , any thoughts on what i need and were to look ? thanks very much

Hi, I'm from Sask and am some what famaliar with safety's but who is He and ask him what He means when He say's you have the wrong mounts.

Schumachers poly locks are a great product but not OE so I can't see where they can be a required product , besides they also sell a torque strap for less than half of the price of their mounts{ $79 plus compared to $165 plus }that works just as well for locking down the motor . just put one on my 410 because the small block poly locks were on back order for weeks and might still be for all I know because I no longer need or want them

I run the Schumacher mounts with the torque strap. Holds together pretty good, even down the track.
