Web site shows SixPac and cowl one piece, bolt on for the snorkel.dang it - I am at work and the site is blocked - so they do a one piece or are they grafting on scoops to order?

I saw hoods, hoods with scoops and snorkel scoops but Not a Hood With a Snorkel on it...dang it - I am at work and the site is blocked - so they do a one piece or are they grafting on scoops to order?
I like these 2 styles, painted body color or scoop with the black decal. Get a second hood to chop up and keep the original in the garage.Ok, I was going to say black scoop to match your stripe. But, then I read factory 74 360. That car is super rare, so I would not cut the hood. Do what I did. Buy a spare hood and paint it satin(matte) black. Or paint it your factory blue to match. Don't damage that factory hood! My 2 cents.
yes after reading all the replies I think I agree ....theres a swapmeet on this coming weekend over here so I will look out for another hood to play with so I can always change my mind. Always wondered why they never got scoops from the factory!Ok, I was going to say black scoop to match your stripe. But, then I read factory 74 360. Are they rare? anyone know the build numbers of these or a reliable site to get the info from?Ok, I was going to say black scoop to match your stripe. But, then I read factory 74 360. I really don't think it'd affect value any and I'm nowhere near a purists but I think I'd find a different hood for the simple fact that that car looks AWESOME exactly how it is, so if it were mine I'd like to have the option to go back to the current look as easily as possibleI'm probably gonna get kicked electronically in the head for this but...
What is the rarety:value ratio in this case (ABSOLUTELY no offense to your car) it's sweet. But we're talking about a hood on a 74. This isn't a Mr. Norms, Superbird, Hemi car, so do what you want to do...do you really think that if you go to sell, it's gonna lose that much value for putting a scoop on the original hood? IMHO it won't...Okay fanatical purists...let's get it overwith
My wife tells me that far too often... lolyou have
to please yourself!
