Theresa was looking on Facebook marketplace and saw this car for $5k and jumped on it. We used to have a little green one and sold it back to our friend we bought it from. Since she was wanting a second car and missed her old Miata she couldn't pass it up.
Has a ton of extra aftermarket goodies and only 84xxxx miles.

Looks like it is setup to run! Congrats. A good friend of mine races spec class Miata's nationally. It's pretty impressive what those little cars can accomplish in the corners.
I don't know if it affects all of them, but he had a chronic problem of the caliper slide pins backing out towards the end of a race and causing all kinds of vibration under braking. No amount of Loctite would keep them in place. I designed and machined a modification of the caliper to eliminate the problem and he's been good since. Just mention it to keep an eye on it. Has something to do with the vibration and flex associated with the curbing on some tracks.

I'd love one but I remember back 30 years ago when I had a 280Z how I had to "roll" out of the car and slide down the seat to get in. Fun to drive once you're in. Have fun!

I tried to get into one once, no way, no how will my 6ft 7 inch frame squeeze in. Too bad cause they seem like really fun rides.

only 6'3"...maybe move the seat back in the trunk?
MGB's had a ledge behind the seats...that's what Herman Munster would have to sit on to drive one.

My ex-wife and I looked into buying one once, some "anniversary edition" that was a plum-like color. Anyway, she was 5' 2", and she couldn't move the seat far enough forward to get a good seating position.

But then we went to the Auto Show a few weeks later, and just for giggles she climbed into a monster F350 that was all raised-up and decked-out. She moved the seat forward, and...Perfect! Go figure.

The NB is a great platform. I have raced many, many miles in one. Coilovers, brakes, and a set of 200 treadwear tires and there are not many cars that can beat ‘em on a tight course.

Same car.

had an 08. fun little car. mine was an all stock automatic and it scooted pretty well.. got rid of it for a 2019 mustang rag top. i needed a bit more room.

Ya ! I kinda like the car myself. Not a mopar but sure is fun to drive. Can't wait to take it up to the Mountains in N Carolina ! Tail of the Dragon ! Skyways !!

Ice Blue NB with Koni yellows.

Fun fun.
Is that 949 racing wheels as well?

Nice score, I'm slowly becoming more accepting of them as the fan base is pretty obnoxious but that goes for a lot of cars these days.

I'd like them more if they got better gas mileage, can't understand how my 4000-lb Buick with supercharged 3.8L V6 only gets a few less MPGs on the highway than a 2-seat Japanese sports car with a 1.8L 4-banger.

I really want to test drive one of the current-gen ND models and/or a Fiat 124, same car with different styling and more power.
