Sealed hood scoop

How many of you all seal your carb to your hood scoop opening?

I have always sealed mine. On one setup I had a long time ago, I back to backed a .12 second improvement with the air pan sealed. Although this was without changing any jetting. I suspect with proper jetting in each situation that the difference would not be as much.

I made my own air pan. took some time, but didn't cost anything.

I haven't but will now I'm not running a tunnel ram!

No tunnel ram here either. Single 1050.

I haven't because I'm not racing, and it helps keep my compartment temp's down. :-D
