Seat Belt Hazardous?

I tried to buy a seat belt from a Chrysler dealer for a late model Dodge and they wont ship because the deem it to be dangerous goods. Any one heard this before.

Yes modern seat belts have the same explosive charge in them that air bags do .

Yep, A friend who has a body shop said that late models when wrecked , you have to replace all the seat belt$$. Honda for sure.Also tyed into the airbag/check engine lite. Mini Cooper's have the battery in the trunk and the positive battery cable is tyed into the airbag system.It too blows and is $500 or so to replace the cable.
