Is there any reason front belts from a 66 bench sedan won’t work with buckets in a hardtop? I can’t think of any. Seems like they should be close or exactly the same.

Go to myMopar.Com, download the parts books for the car/s in question and see if there are different part numbers.

As for will they work? I dont see a reason they wouldn't

I swapped in bucket seats for the bench in my 67 fastback and kept the same belts. Then 15 years later I swapped a bench back in, same belts. So no problems.

The straps may be slightly different in length, but, that shouldn't be a problem unless you're huge or tiny! IIRC, the retractor sleeve is also a bit different. Should be usable though.
