Seat spacers?

I’m curious if the bucket seats in my 67 barracuda should have plastic spacers on the seat to floor bolts to get the seat rails off of the carpet a bit, or not?
I’ve restored a few b bodies that had spacers, but this car doesn’t although the carpet was super mousey from being in a barn for 30 years so the carpet was moist and disintegrating from urine so the plastic spacers could have deteriorated away as well.
 
The spacers were available at the dealer to raise the seat if needed. All seat studs were long enough for use of spacers. I had some on a-body cars with buckets.

I used them on the buckets on my dart and found them to make a world of difference as far as comfort goes...
 
Same as above. I'm not a tall fella and the spacers helped me see over the steering wheel. :lol:
