Just put a 750 quick fuel by Holley on my 360 has a healthy flat tappet cam,Weiand x plane intake etc. Had absolutely zero problems with it. Like you take out of box set it up haven’t touched it since. The 4 corner idle is nice takes a bit of getting use to but works wellSorry I haven't updated my post, no health issues but completely forgot about the post as I said I was posting for a friend who is VERY STUBBURN and with all the info here that I did pass on to him he wants to do it his way. Personally I would have dumped the Holley and put the new Edelbrock 800 AVS-2 on it. I have one on my 68 RT 440 and it's a fantastic carb, the throttle response in incredible and performance awsome. Some guys have good luck with Holley's some don't. I never did, the AVS-2 I put on my RT replaced a Holley that I could never get dialed in. The Edelbrock I took out of the box put it on, set the idle and F/A mixture screws and haven't touched it since.
