Sending unit ohms readings

I want to install an after market fuel level gauge, but do not know what the sending unit ohm ratings are for a 68 barracuda (318). The gauge must match the sending unit to work correctly. Since to car is in storage for the winter with a full tank of gas, getting reading from the installed unit can not be accomplished. Does anyone know the design reading on this unit?

aftermarket guages are 0-240 ohms. chrysler's are 70-10 ohms.

Yea Dusterdons on the money, I actually tested mine and had 60 ohms when tank was empty and 5 when full with a stock MP sending unit.

I wanted Auto Meter 5" MCX gauges for my rallye dash in my 67 cuda. It requires 40-240 ohms to operate. Unfortunately I can't not find a stock sender that reads in between those ohms. I having to resort to other measures.
