I have a 74 duster, original slant 6 \904
now magnum 360 /727

I need a shift linkage set up( some call it torque shaft ) with frame and transmission mounts.

is there an aftermarket set up that works? i cant find any original parts.
all i find is up to 73 , and I guess 74 a body is different than the 73

Column shift or floor shift? Don't know why'73 linkage can't be made to work, none of your setup is original anyways... are you sure your 904 pieces won't fit?

You need the one that goes on the trans for a 727 that holds the torque shaft The frame pieces are all the same. I may have some in the boxes I just brought home but I don't know when I'll get time to go through it all. You basically need the trans bracket for a 727, That is what keeps the shaft level. and the torque shaft which is different shorter. I may have these set ups here but it would take weeks to find them. I have no clue where I put them after I took these pics for someone else that I wasted my time digging out for them to buy. First pic is what you need . Year doesn't matter. On the 3rd pic the one to the left is 904 V8. The 2 on right is 727

column shift.
eveything is off,, and nothing lines up.
and,, i dont have the pieces from the 904 because the car didnt come with a transmission, plus the 727 i got,, was from a truck, so those brackets are waaaaay wrong
