Shipping leaf springs

I have a set of S/S springs posted for sale and I am wondering how other FABO members have shipped them. UPS?, USPS?, FedEx? I was thinking of padding the eyelets and sharp edges, wrapping them in plastic wrap, slapping a label on them, and sending them on their way when they do sell.

Vinyl siding boxes!! They're triple wall cardboard, sturdy as heck, and the springs fit in right nice!! I have a FedEx account and ship most larger items through them, Cheeper than anybody else!! Could also send them greyhound!!! Geof

Look around for houses under construction, you can usually always score nice siding boxes there, or you could ask at Home Depot, or better yet, buy the partial box they have open, and just return the siding without the box!! Done that before!! Geof
