Should I be annoyed?

-
i have offered a person parts for free on here by pm and they dident have the decentcy to answer back with a no thanks or thanks anyway but i dont need em.that left a bad taste in my mouth never again.

As a person that has a few tattoos I get stereotyped all the time because of it. One of the reasons I go out of my way, especially when I have shorts & a t-shirt on, to hold the door open. Thank You seems to have fallen out of our vocabulary....

In today's world this is the best way to think. It seems as time moves on the world is just getting more rude. How many folks still hold a door open for someone? Get the car door for the wife? Or even tell the waiter Thank You when they refill your coffee?

I can say that I do.

I even say "excuse me" or "pardon me" if I'm walking through the store and walk between someone and the items he or she may be looking at.

But I don't know how many times I've had kids damn near run me over in the store. Then lo and behold here comes mom and dad doing damn near the same thing.

No wonder the kids are rude. They're parents are, too.

Some people have a hard time saying thank you, and some feel it was your duty to help them out.
I've run across both, and both suck in my oppinion.

That's messed up.

Have you noticed the one's you do hold the door open for that only about have of them even say thank you?
When that happens I say it for them. :) Just to get the point accross.

One day I noticed a guy coming up to the door at the same time I was and I stopped and held the door for him.
Dick stops in the open doorway and start telling someone with him to "come on, let's go" and stood there waiting for the other person and never even aknowledged my presence.
Of course I just let go of the door and it hit him in the back.
He sure did notice I wasn't holding it any more though.

That's awesome. This one always annoys me. I always make sure they get a Your Welcome in my rude voice, or a F%$k you too! when they don't bother saying thank You for holding the door.

i have never been givin parts but one time i beleive i thanked that member a couple times in diffrent messages , a thank you was deffinitly in order but im sorry some might have had more on his hands idk .......ill tell you thank you jus for being a great hobbist and helping others with our mopar hobbys:cheers:

No good deed will go unpunished. Be grateful the FREE part you sent fit. If it hadn't, then you would've heard from him.

One can only control the actions and attitudes of oneself and stand with pride and honor as the result of such. Be annoyed? No. Be disappointed? Yes. Be surprised? Never!

Well stated.

I guess his mom never had the time to teach him manners and how to act like a gentlemen. Just like loaning money to a friend or family member, do it without any expectation of repayment, or just don't do it at all.

God bless all those who do care about others and treat them with gratitude and respect. And God help all others.
