Shoulder belt attachment on 68 post Dart

The weekend started out just swapping the bucket seats (non-Mopar) for a pair of Procar 90's. One thing led to another and now since the seats are out it would be a good time to upgrade from lap belts to 3 pt shoulder belts. Where would the shoulder belt attachment point be on a post car?

There seems to be some question as to whether "all" 68's even had anchors
 
Darts and fish’s are different in many ways. 68 models may have the mounting boss and may not.

As a reference look in this area. If your headliner is in, Then feel for it. FB Fish had the option for the rear seat shoulder belt as well.

Cars built on or after 1-1-1968 and sold in the USA were required to have three point belts for the driver and outboard passenger. My 1968 Barracuda built in October of 1967 had the upper shoulder harness mounting bracket, hidden behind the headliner. That bracket did not have a threaded nut welded in place to affix the upper shoulder harness to. With the bracket there, it was not difficult to add the threaded nut to run the upper bolt mount in to. The lower mount for the retractor is not present at all and I need to fab that.
 
Thanks everyone for their replies. It's a tough call because the headliner is already in. I'll feel around for the mounting boss; if it feels like its in then I may take the chance and make a small X cut in the headliner to check it out.
BTW, I installed the XV Engineering seat belts in the Coronet and it was an easy install with the headliner out.
 
Found it. Decided to go with XV Engineering again. They're one week out, Seatbelt Planet is 3 - 4.

late response and i know you've already figured it out, but my 68 dart had holes above the pillar but no thread. which means it would be impossible to reinstall the seatbelt after headliner was up.

I've found helpfull posts here on old topics before so here goes...

so i got belts from retrobelt, welded some grade 8 nuts to square washers and welded those into the small space in the body panel behind the holes. then added a strong anchor in the floor for the retactor.
also welded some cross members behind the rear seat to hide the retractor for those so they aren't visible.

That's good work but after you welded those nuts they weren't "grade 8" anymore. You could have just drilled and tapped the metal tab.

yes i do realize that bit of metalurgy now after watching forged in fire. ive de-tempered the steel, but iv seen how thin these GM body panels are and i still feel safer putting my kids in the old boat now that the sholder belts are in. the whole unibody style is weird to me after owning different trucks over the years with stout and thick frames... no frames on these cars is just strange to me still...
